In continuation of efforts to
provide opportunities for developing careers in the petroleum industry. Esso
Exploration and Production Nigeria Limited (EEPNL) awards scholarship to
qualified Nigeria graduates who wish to pursue full time post-graduate Studies
in Nigeria Universities.
Applications in the under listed
disciplines are considered:

Geosciences (Geology or Geophysics)
·
Engineering (Chemical, Civil/Structural,
Electrical, Electronics, Marine, Mechanical, Petroleum and sub-sea)
Essential Requirements:
1.
Must be a graduate of a Nigeria University
2.
Must possess a Bachelor’s degree with a minimum
of Second Class Upper division in any of the Engineering or Geosciences
disciplines.
3.
Must have provisional admission into an
accredited Nigeria University for Post graduate study (M.Sc or M.Eng) in the
2014/2015 academic session.
4.
Specification in Geophysics will be an added
advantage
The NNPC/ESSO Scholarship award
supports payment of tuition, books, accommodation and up – keep expenses for
the selected course of study and for a maximum duration of two (2) years.

University (Official Transcript would be obtained prior to award to the
successful candidates)

WAEC results
Names of short-listed candidates
for the qualifying test will be publishes in National Dailies. The Candidates
will also be contacted with details of the qualifying test via SMS text and
e-mail.
Employees of ExxonMobile is
operator of Nigeria and their dependents are not eligible for this Scholarship.
EEPNL, subsidiary of ExxonMobile
is operator of Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation Oil Mining Lease (OML)
133 and the Erha Project. Its co-venturer on the block is Shell Nigeria
Exploration and Production Company (SNEPCO).
