This is to inform the generak
public that online sale of the Bayero University, Kano, Post graduate
application Forms for the 2014/2015 Academic Session is to commence on Monday
27th October, 2014.
All interested applicants should
visit the Bayero University website www.buk.edu.ng
for details about available programmes and the procedures of applying online. Please
note the following information:
1.
The cost of each application is Ten Thousand
Naira (#10,000.00) only, plus administrative charges of Five hundred Naira
(#500.00)only, giving a total of #10,500.00.
2.
The duration of the sales and submission of
application for m is from 27th October to 21st December,
2014.
3.
An applicant should ensure that he/she has the
entry requirements for the program applied for plus five “O” Level Credit
including English Language and Mathematics as appropriate
4.
Applicants for Ph.D/M.Phil and Academic Master’s
programmes should ensure that transcript of their academic records are sent to
the Secretary, School of Post graduate Studies, Bayero University, Kano.
The Application Procedure
STEP 1: Visit www.buk.edu.ng
and under the PROSPECTIVE STUDENT TAB click Application at the home page. Login
using FULL NAME OF THE APPLICANT and select “Applying for a Postgraduate
Programme”. A username and password will be generated for you. Please take
careful note of them, as you need them for subsequent steps of the application
process.
STEP 2: Personalize Payment Invoice will be generated immediately
for you. Print it and go to any branch of First Bank, UBA, SKYE Bank, GTBank or
Fidelity Bank nationwide to make a non-refundable payment of #10,500 (Ten Thousand
Five Hundred Naira only).
STEP 3: Return to www.buk.edu.ng
and login with your username and password to fill in the Application forms:
Programme Selection form
Personal Data Form
Qualifications Form
STEP 4: Transcript Request Form shall be filled by candidates for
Ph.D, M.Phil and Academic Masters Programme in addition to the forms listed in
step 3 above.
STEP 5: Review your forms to ensure accuracy of all information
provided. Click “SUBMIT” to complete the application process
STEP 6: An Acknowledgement Slip will be generated for you
immediately. Print the slip and keep it safe. The slip will be needed during
the collection of admission letter and during registration.

stating the difficulties or enquiries.
Payment at the bank opens on
Monday 27th October, 2014 and closes on Friday, 19th
December, 2014. The website for completing the Application Forms will close by
11:59PM on Sunday, 21st December, 2014.
