JOB OPPORTUNITIES IN AN INTERNATIONAL INTEGRATED OIL SERVICE COMPANY



Our client, a wholly indigenous, ISO-Certified, value driven company providing quality, intergrated services to the Oil industry in Nigeria, Congo Brazzaville, Gabon and Angola is currently seeking self managed and result oriented professional for the following positions to optimize current operations and meet the requirements of the expansion and diversification plans.
1.       GENERAL MANAGER OPERATIONS (Drilling, Workover and Decommissioning):
Job Summary:
This role has responsibilities for overseeing the profitability of operations of the division, development of new businesses, coordinate and implement projects whilst ensuring effective quality HSE standards.

Primary Responsibilities:
·         Provide strategic direction to the division and implement plans in line with overall corporate strategy
·         Continuously create/develop and manage sources of revenue
·         Ensure the appropriate and equitable distribution of available resources amongst clients and projects
·         Oversees the overall performance of the divisions as related to business development, ideas generation and project implementation and profitability
·         Oversee HSE Management systems, policies and procedures to ensure that they are continually improved toward a best practice objective and kept up to date.
Job Requirements:
·         First degree in Engineering or other related discipline
·         Minimum of 18 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry, 8 of which must have been in at senior management level.
·         Strong business development skills with a proven track record of converting prospects to paying clients
·         Experience in proposal/bid preparation
·         Experience in Drilling contractor and service Company.

2.       CORPORATE HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGER
Job Summary:
This role has overall responsibilities for the group’s personnel and training strategy. He/she also contribute to overall company strategy and policy making by advising the board on the personnel and/or human resources of its decisions.
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Overall control of the personnel/Human resources function
·         Formulating talent management systems and strategies appropriate to the company’s corporate mission and goals
·         Keeping the company informed on personnel and employee-relations policies, as needed, to preserve and facilitate company strategy
·         Improving management/employee communications, including mediating in disputes, and advising line managers on how to implement personnel policies.
Job Requirements:
·         First degree in Social Sciences or any other related discipline
·         Relevant professional qualification such as CIPD, CIPM, GHPR etc. will be an added advantage
·         Master’s degree will be an added advantage
·         Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Human Resources, 5 of which must have been in at senior management level.

3.       GROUP FINANCIAL CONTROLLER:
Job Summary:
This role has responsibilities for all aspect of Group’s financial management and monitoring of the internal control environment. He/she will manage the Accounting and Financial system controls and standards and ensure the delivery of financial and statistical reports.
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Preparation of budget, forecast and business plans and continued monitoring and review of performance against them to enable robust reporting of variances to the Board and third party stakholders
·         Ensure the preparation of timely and accurately monthly management accounts and reports for operational management
·         Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the Group’s accounting records and financial systems
·         Effectively manage the working capital components of the Group with specific attention to stock, debtors and cash balances
·         Active management of overheads whilst seeking out areas for efficiencies for savings
Job Requirements:
·         First degree in Finance/Accounts or any related discipline
·         Relevant professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CPA etc.)
·         Minimum of 15 years’ experience in Financial Management, 5 of which must have been in at senior management level.

4.       QC/HSE MANAGER:
Job Summary:
This role will provide full time environmental health and safety support as well as quality control to the operations and will ensure that all practices are in compliance with regulatory requirements. He/she will coordinate the integration of agreed HSE policies and processes into core business processes and will further develop internal reporting to management.
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Ensure that the organization’s HSE Management system is continually improved toward a best practice objective and kept up-to-date in response to legislative and circumstantial changes
·         Develop policies, procedures, work instructions, protocols, and templates in accordance with HSE requirements and influence the adoption of such systems throughout the business
·         Prepare and deliver regular reporting of HSE related information to the organization and convene the Health and Safety Committee meetings
·         Manage external service provider relationships and procurement to deliver HSE policies, procedures, products and services, such as emergency management and HSE training.
Job Requirements:
·         First degree in Engineering or other related discipline
·         Minimum of 12 years experience in the Oil and Gas industry, 4 of which must have been in at senior management level.
·         Experience in Drilling contractor and service Company.

5.       OPERATION MANAGER RIG UNIT (Land Rigs and Rig agency):
Job Summary:
This role is responsibilities for managing the operations of drilling or works over unit rigs, including the monitoring and management of drilling equipment and resolving operations problems. The position will also ensure that the budget, revenue and cost targets are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Proactively develop and manage new business streams and strategies
·         Strategize and oversee plans and schedule of contracting/leasing of equipment to clients to ensure that all activities are properly scheduled without obstructions to the client’s needs
·         Overseeing drilling and workover to clients to ensure that all activities are operated in safe and cost effective manner
·         Manage and maintain drilling equipment and operations; ensures that all operations are executed in accordance with Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) policies
·         Prepare and manage the operating budget. Ensures that the operations are conducted safely, and in compliance with all environmental and health regulations
Job Requirements:
·         First degree in Engineering or other related discipline
·         Minimum of 12 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry, 5 of which must have been in at senior management level.
·         Strong business development skills with a proven track record of converting prospects to paying clients
·         Experience in Drilling contractor and service Company.

6.       OPERATION MANAGER (Drilling tools services):
Job Summary:
This role is responsibilities for management of drilling sites, location, personnel’s’, equipment and execution of drilling program as per the contract. He provides technical and engineering support to the drilling supervisor/Project Managers as required on a daily basis to support a safe and profitable operation. The position will also ensure the budget; revenue and cost targets are met.
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Proactively develop and implement new business streams and strategies
·         Strategize and oversee plans and schedule of contracting/leasing of equipment to clients to ensure that all activities are properly scheduled without obstructions to the client’s needs
·         Ensure equipment and systems are inspected and in compliance to relevant standards
·         Plan and prepare for inventories, critical spares back up and safety audits of rig. Assist maintenance team close out issue that may need repair and servicing in upcoming shut down period.
·         Prepare and manage the operating budget. Ensures that the operations are conducted safely, and in compliance with all environmental and health regulations

7.       BUSINESS MANAGER DRILLING AND RIG UNIT (Workover and control services):
Job Summary:
This role relies on a unique combination of strategies, sales, engineering and relationship management skills. He/she has responsibilities for entire bid process for the organization as well as oversees the project management teams for all bids and project for the organization.
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Proactively develop and implement new business streams and strategies
·         Manage and provide leadership to contracts and commercial team members in implementing business development initiative and tendering activities
·         Lead review teams on commercial bids prepared by bid team for completeness and competitiveness
·         Prepare bid proposals particularly, in terms of commercial aspect, take ownership and lead predominantly in tenders from kick off to bid submission, eventual success and potentially onto project delivery
·         Review existing contracts to ensure that both customer and company service level agreements are maintained and cost controlled, with deadlines adhered to.
Job Requirements:
·         First degree in Petroleum Engineering or other related discipline
·         Minimum of 15 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry, 8 of which must have been in at senior management level.
·         Strong business development skills with a proven track record of converting prospects to paying clients
·         Experience in proposal /bid preparation
·         Experience in Drilling contractor and service Company.

8.       CORPORATE AND PROJECT FINANCE SPECIALIST (Oil Services, Real Estate and Hospitality):
Job Summary:
This role is responsible for ensuring projects are developed appropriately within company and to manage financial advisors and their outputs.
Primary Responsibilities:
·         Build financial models and performs sensitivity analyses from scratch and adapt existing models for new projects
·         Ability to optimize a financial model to achieve certain targets subject to financial constraints.
·         Ability to run sensitivities on the financial model
·         Performs in-depth analyses of the nature of the proposed business ventures; the financial statements provided; related macroeconomic and microeconomic risk; related to project contractual obligations; the eligibility, financial standing and business background of the project; and other related factors
·         Prepares loan papers and presents to approval committees
·         Documents transactions leading to financial close and first disbursement. Manages outside consultants who are advising on project-related insurance, market, model, legal, and technical/engineering issues.
 Job Requirements:
·         First degree in Economics or other related discipline
·         Master degree is an added advantage
·         Relevant professional qualifications such as ACA, ACCA, CPA etc
·         Strong financial analysis and project finance skills.
·         Good knowledge of international Finance processes
·         Minimum of 12 years’ experience in investment banking, corporate finance, 5 of which must have been in at senior management level.

9.       SENIOR EXECUTIVE ASSISTANT TO THE CEO:
Job Summary:
The Senior Executive Assistant will be responsibilities for the coordination of activities (operations and planning) and ensuring timely flow of information to and from the executive office.
 Primary Responsibilities:
·         Manage daily schedule and external contacts for CEO
·         Liaise with Oil and Gas regulatory authorities
·         Study and prepare project documents
·         Assists in analysis and preparation of bids and tender documents.
·         Attend technical meetings with the CEO
·         Prepare agenda for meetings in advance; assist with and provide research/background information, content development, and creation of presentations and coordinate meetings.
·         Develop and maintain system that alerts to upcoming deadlines on incoming requests or events
·         Act as the CEO’ representative and ambassador to external constituents as directed.
Job Requirements:
·         First degree in Social Sciences or other related discipline
·         Minimum of 10 years’ experience in the Oil and Gas industry,
·         Extensive knowledge of the Oil and Gas sector
·         Strong analytical and administrative skills
