Due to expansion, a
well-established, fully accredited National Health Maintenance Organization
(HMO) based in Lagos but with offices in the geo-political zones of the Country
requires the addition of a capable hand to drive business growth, open new
markets and take care of operational activities. We, therefore seek a highly
intelligent personality for the post of the CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER.
The COO should be an
experienced medical mind (minimum of 15 years post qualification), with
considerable understanding of the health insurance market in Nigeria and
in-depth working knowledge in the operations of the National Health Insurance
Scheme (NHIS). The candidates will report directly to the Managing Director/CEO
of the organization.
REQUIREMENTS:

A good University degree
·
·
Possession of a Master’s degree in a relevant
field/and or degree in any medical field will be an added advantage
·
Minimum of seven (7) years in a senior
Management position with an accredited HMO.
·
Must not be less than 40 years of age
·
Must be ready to travel within and outside Lagos
for operational activities
·
Must be computer literate (e.g Microsoft office
application)
·
Sound business acumen and good marketing skills
·
Must be able to interpret financial data/reports
·
Excellent written and spoken English
·
Excellent time management skills
·
Good organizational and staff management skills
·
Experience of working with people of diverse
disciplines and cultures.
