from suitably qualified candidates for the position of Executive Director,
Forestry Research Institute of Nigeria:
QUALIFICATIONS:
1.
Prospective candidates must be holders of Ph.D
in Forestry or related disciplines with a minimum of 10 years research
/teaching experience.
2.
He/she must also be a director with a minimum of
2 years cognate working experience as at the time of application
3.
While strict compliance is given to Federal
Government policy on Tenure-ship as a Director, candidates must ensure that the
four years tenure fails within the stipulated 8 years.
4.
Apart from the above, candidates should also
ensure that the period of 4 years appointment falls within the 65 years of age
or 35 years in service
TERM OF APPOINTMENT
– 4 YEARS
DUTIES: The Executive Director is
the research and administrative head of the Institute. He/she is responsible to
the Governing Board of the Institute and the supervising Ministry. He/she
coordinates the overall implementation of the policy, programmes and projects
of the Institute.
SALARY: Consolidated, based on
the consolidates Research and Allied Institutions Salary Scale (CONRAISS)
METHOD OF APPLICATION:

credentials. Three referees should send their report by courier to reach the
Institute within four (4) weeks from the date of this advert. Eligible Public

performance Evaluation Reports on the prospective candidates. All applications
