Maritime life-saving equipment is seeking to strengthen its market presence in
Nigeria through the appointment of an experienced stand-alone sales
professional for the position of:
Position: BUSINESS
DEVELOPMENT MANAGER:
The Roles:
Reporting to the Country
Director in South Africa, you will be responsible for hunting new business, as
well as maintaining and expanding existing business. In this capacity, you
will:
i.
Develop a
comprehensive business development strategy capable of meeting agreed goals and
objectives
ii.
Conduct a
systematic marketing and sales campaign to expand the company’s share of the
market
iii.
Develop and
implement a long-term plan to retain existing contracts
iv.
Establish
efficient administrative reporting systems
Job Requirements:
·
Degree qualified
in any related business or social sciences discipline
·
Prior experience
selling products or services to the mairitme and /or offshore industry, prior
direct experience from the maritime life-saving industry is an advantage, but
not a requirement
·
Potential to run
a team
·
Strong drive for
achievement, ability to leard fast, self –motivated, and able to work
independently
·
Stroong
interpersonal and negotiation skills
