VACANCIES AT INTERNATIONAL SCHOOL, UNIVERSITY OF IBADAN

Applications are invited from suitably qualified candidates to fill the following teaching and non-teaching positions in the School.

TEACHING POSITIONS:

A.      The Ordinary Level Program i.e Secondary arm of the School, requires teacher in the following subject area:

i.                     French (1 No)

ii.                   Computer Science/Data processing (1 No)

iii.                  English Language  (4 No)

iv.                 Literature-in –English (1No)

v.                   Social Studies ( 1 No)

vi.                 Economics ( 1 No)

vii.                Government ( 1 No)

A.      The Advanced Level Programme

i.                     Chemistry Tutor( 2 No)

ii.                   Physics Tutor( 1 No)

NON – TEACHING POSITIONS:

A.      The Hostel/Boarding House

i.                     House parents/keeper (Boys’ hostel) ( 1 No)

ii.                   House parents/keeper (Girls’ Hostel) ( 1 No)

B.      Security Unit

i.                     Security Men ( 5 No)

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

The Ordinary Level programme

Candidates must possess a B.Ed, B.A (ED) or B.SC (Ed) OR B.A/B.SC in relevant subjects + PGDE and cognate experience.

The Advanced Level Programmme

Candidates must possess Master’s degree in the required /relevant subject. Candidates with good first degree from a recognized University with a minimum of three years cognate experience as A/Level Tutor from a reputable School or centre, may also apply.

The Hostel/Boarding House

Minimum of OND/NCE in Home Management or any other related discipline with not less than 6 years experience in the management of teenagers. He/She must not be less than 40 years old. Experienced Nurse, with not less than 6 years experience, would be an added advantage. Successful candidates will be in loco parentis and will supervise the boarding activities on daily basis.

The Security Unit

Candidates must possess a minimum of three credits in SSCE including English Language. Experience in security service delivery will be an added advantage.
