JOB VACANCIES AT FHI 360

We are currently seeking qualified candidates for the positions of:
THE STATE COORDINATOR: (Kebbi, and Zamfara)
Project: MAPS
Under the supervision of the Program Implemetation Director, will oversee state level activities of the Malaria Action Program for States (MAPS). S/He will provide leadership for the State team and coordinate activities across all program thematic areas in the State. S/He will lead the development of State specific activity plans, drawing from the annual MAPS work and state malaria program plans.

Minimum Requirement Standards:
·         B.SC in Social, Physical or Health Sciences
·         A post graduate degree in relevant field will be an added advantage
·         Experience in Health related (especially malaria) project management is essential
·         A minimum of 10 years post NYSC working experience in relevant areas with a minimum of 2 years experience in a managerial position in development sector.
·         Experience working with government and donor funded programs sector will be a strong added advantage
·         Proficiency in Excel, Microsoft word and Power-point required.
·         Good communication skills required.
THE SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER (M&E): (Bauchi)
Project: SIDHAS
Under the supervision of the state Program Manager and with Technical oversight from the Director of Monitoring and Evaluation, is responsible for the design and implementation of monitoring and evaluation for the state office. S/He will work with others in the state office and local implementing partners to ensure that state monitoring and evaluation activities are appropriate and meet the donor and project’s M&E needs
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
·         MBBS with 3 to 5 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global health initiatives
·         Or MPH or M.sc in relevant degree with 5 to 7 years relevant experience in project level or state /national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global health initiatives
·         Or B.SC/B.A in Statistics, Pharmacy, Microbiology, monitoring and evaluation or in relevant degree with 7 to 9 years relevant experience in project-level or state/national-level monitoring and evaluation system implementation for Global health initiatives
·         Familiarity with Nigerian Public Sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable
THE SENIOR TECHNICAL OFFICER, PCT: (Bauchi)
Project: SIDHAS
Will provide technical support to implement high quality care treatment and support activities focusing on clinical management of HIV/AIDS including provision of Anti-retroviral therapy (ART). S/He will also provide technical leadership and support to the implementing agencies in prevention and mitigation at the state-level. This includes supporting the implementation of prevention activities (sexual and biomedical) and strategic behavior  change interventions, testing and counseling, home based care, orphans and vulnerable children and other community mobilization activities.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
·         MBBS with 3 to 5 years progressive relevant experience in Clinical care with sound understanding of HIV/AIDS with provision of PMTCT and anti-retroviral therapy (ART) in resource constrained settings.
·         Possession of MPH or post graduate degree in a relevant field is required.
·         Experience in project development with proven experience in the planning and facilitation of training is required
·         Experience in large and complex SBC/BCC mobilization activities in a donor funded national health focused project is an added advantage.
·         Familiarity with Nigerian Public Sector health systems and NGOs and CBOs is highly desirable
THE SENIOR PROGRAM OFFICER: (Abuja)
Project: SIDHAS
Under the supervision of the Associate Director National Programm, will provide support to and coordinate in program planning, implementation, monitoring and of assigned project activities.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
·         B.SC in public health, business administration, health sciences, behavioral sciences or recognized equivalent with 7 to 9 years relevant experience with international development programs.
·         Or M.sc in public health, business administration, health sciences, behavioral sciences or its recognized equivalent with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with international development programs.
·         Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required.
THE PROGRAM OFFICER: (Akwa Ibom, Jigawa)
Project: SIDHAS
Will work with the state Program Manager to provide oversight, coordination, monitoring and reporting of all FHI 360 Nigeria activities in the assigned state.
Minimum Recruitment Standards:
·         B.SC in public health, business administration, health sciences, behavioral sciences or recognized equivalent with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with international development programs.
·         Or M.sc in public health, business administration, health sciences, behavioral sciences or its recognized equivalent with 5 to 7 years relevant experience with international development programs.
·         Demonstrated success in multicultural environments is required.
