Officer-Prevention and Mitigation (2 positions): Location: Anambra and Abia
States.
Specific Job/
Responsibilities:

Provide technical assistant in project
implementation and assign responsibilities to CBO staff in the States taking
into cogniznance skills and ability of such staff to perform up to expectation
·
Involve in advocacy activities work in
partnership with the state and LGA,
SAGA, LACA, Health management board, CBO and other influential partners
·
Participate in meeting with the state ministry
of health, Consortium partners, and other stakeholders
·
Lead the preparation of state programmatic and M
and E reports and ensure timely submission of complete and effective
documentations and reports to the deputy Director, programs.
·
Review reports from project team and ensure that
they correctly reflect project performance on the field
·
Lead and maintain contact with government
agencies, donors, partners and other stakeholders on behalf of the organization in the states
·
Plan, organize, conduct and evaluate training
and participate in the review and development of training materials
·
Ensure that project transactions are kept within
the limits of the budget, and grants funds are expended in efficient and
effective manner.
Qualifications:
Preference will be given to candidates with Medical degrees,
M.D, B.SC in Health management, social sciences, public or related field.
Higher degree such as MPH with 5 -7 years
post national youth service corps experience at the community level will be an
added advantage. Familiarity with Nigerian public sector health system, CBOs
and strong background in HIV Care and support, care and support programming for
vulnerable children, HIV/Reproductive health and TB/HIV integration are highly
desirable. Preference will be given to candidates from the project selected
state and with demonstrated relevant previous experience.
