Position: RESEARCH
ANALYST (14/07/REC/RESANA/ JOB OBJECTIVES
The selected candidate will be
required to provide market analyses, reports and forecasts on each specialist
segment of the Nigeria and International downstream industry.
TASKS
1.
Regularly monitor and report events,
developments (technology developments, new projects, new opportunities,
policies, supply chain) and competitor’s activities in the Nigerian/
International Oil and Gas market
2.
Support key department in the organization
through market analytics, research, and intelligence reports on consumers and
competitors in the industry.
3.
Add value to business development
initiatives/strategy-sessions by providing insights, data and analytics that
can support strategic decision-making
4.
Help to ensure that the business performs
optimally by using statistical analysis or simulations to analyze information
and develop practical solution to business problems.
5.
Serve as a thought partner, leveraging internal
and external networks, to engage in team problem solving, share evolving
business trends and best practices, and contribute to knowledge creation
initiatives
6.
Prepare and present comprehensive detailed
comparative analysis on key metrics that measures the organization’s performance
against industry benchmarks and internal corporate goals.
7.
Conduct macroeconomic analysis, including
monitoring of government legislative and regulatory acts affecting the Oil and
Gas (or LNG) industries

Must:

Have at least, basic knowledge and understanding
of the global Oil and Gas industry (including an appreciation of the industry
structure, operational practice, business functionalities and competitive
landscope).

Have strong analytical skills

Be able to independently initiate and execute
research-projects
Qualifications/Experience
·
1st degree in the numerate Science-based
disciplines, Engineering, Business/Economics, Mathematics, Finance or other
relevant field from a reputable University.
·
MBA or a Master’s Degree in a numerate
discipline will be an added advantage
·
At least 4 years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience in the downstream sector will be considered an advantage.
·

Position: MANAGEMENT
ACCOUNTANT (14/07/REC/MANACC)/ JOB OBJECTIVES
To develop, review and implement
financial management systems and procedures, analyze financial and performance
information, provide advice and practical support on planning, budgeting and
reporting, and provide management with reports to assist in decision-making.
TASKS
1.
Analyze and report key financial data within the
organization, ensure that Managers receive timely, accurate and relevant information.
2.
Contribute to medium and long-term business
planning, budgeting, forecasting and implementation of performance measure for
the business.
3.
Advise Management on the financial implications
and consequences of business decisions, offer professional judgment on
financial matters and advise on ways of improving business performance
4.
Prepare the Quarterly and Annual financial
statements and supporting working paper
5.
Provide variance analysis from budget, identify
added-value reporting opportunities
6.
Analyze financial performance and contribute to
timely completion of the annual financial
7.
Implement corporate governance procedures, risk
management and internal controls
8.
Consolidate departmental/SBU submission and
prepare final draft for submission
