Welfare Scheme Ltd (ECEWS) is a leading indigenous non-profit organization
dedicated to improving access to qualitative healthcare, Education and Economic
strengthening services in Nigeria. Our staff includes expert in health,
Education, Social works, youth, Civil Society and Research. Our LOCATE project;
a CDC/PEPFAR HIV prevention, care and treatment program is currently seeking
qualified candidates for the following positions:
1.
PROGRAM ASSOCIATE PHARMACY (Enugu
State)
Overall Job Function:
The Pharmacy Associate will plan, support and
implement an efficient pharmacy logistics and supply chain management system
for ECEWS in the three LOCATE states in accordance with donor requirements and
stipulated guidelines of the Federal Government of Nigeria with technical
oversight from the Senior Technical Advisor of Clinical Services State Program
Manager and Collaboration with central office technical staff.
Minimum Recruitment Standard:
A minimum of B.SC in Pharmacy, or
other relevant field, with prior experience in supply chain management and HIV/AIDS
monitoring and Evaluation. At least 4 years experience in related programming
in developing countries. Experience in Pharmacy logistics and Supply chain
Management in HIV/AIDS monitoring. Experience in monitoring and evaluation, of
public health programs. An MPH and a previous experience in a PEPFAR/USAID ART,
PMTCT and RH program will be an advantage. Quantitative and analytical skills
with the, competence to communicate technical information clearly and
effectively to both technical and non-technical colleagues. Proficiency in MS
Access, SPSS, MS Excel, MS Word, MS Power Point and other Office packages. Be
able to use pharmaceutical tracking tools to input data into standard-alone and
web based data bases/system for the purpose of monitoring drug use and needs
across ECEWS supported sites. Be familiar with and have the ability to deploy
the logistics and health Program Management Information Program for the purpose
of pharmacy logistics and monitoring. Be a resource person for the training of
site staff on pharmacy logistics and monitoring.
