1. EXPATRIATE PROJECT MANAGER: (10 years experience on high rise and
infrastructure project in a Grade A construction company)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
i.
Provide the management and supervision of all
construction work and ensure that the works are completed to quality
specification, time and within the budget
ii.
Carry out functions of planning, costing,
reporting to ensure the required integration of the engineering, procurement
and construction activities to completion date.
2. QUANTITY SURVEYOR: (7-10 years experience on large scale projects)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
i.
Prepare and price Bill of Quantities and format
procedure for cost estimates and changes in scope on the project.
ii.
Receive cost data from engineering, procurement
and construction and incorporate in monthly project cost statement.
iii.
Call attention to any significant variations
between actual and planned cost performance and recommend corrective action
against control budget.
iv.
Prepare payment certificates (measured work) for
claims for variation, fluctuations and maintain payments ledger.
3. PROCUREMENT/PURCHASING OFFICER (5-7 years experience on large scale
business)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
i.
Formulate procurement policy, procedures and
ensure all purchasing is done in accordance with item ii above.
ii.
Prepare list of preferred suppliers and adjunct
tenders and make recommendations
iii.
Prepare Authority to order (ATO) document and
maintain and update warehouse supplies register and orders placed.
4. PROJECT ENGINEERS (7-10 years experience in construction industry)
JOB DESCRIPTION;
i.
Full construction management and coordinating
site workers, site safety, site equipment control in accordance to the
construction plan
ii.
Execute a quality management system for construction
iii.
Issue, monitor and record site instructions and
carry out acceptance testing.
5. STORE KEEPER/MATERIAL CONTROL (5-7 years experience):
JOB DESCRIPTION:
i.
Provide progress report and maintain material
inventory control system
ii.
Provide detailed material control procedures for
the project
iii.
Ensures proper co-ordination between material
control and Q.S data.
iv.
Carry out regular inventory checks on material
stored.
v.
Verify good receiving documentation and forward
to account for payments.
6. PROJECT ACCOUNTANT (5-7 years experience in the construction industry):
JOB DESCRIPTION:
i.
Check and verify sub-contractor’s, consultants
and suppliers invoice.
ii.
Prepare financial cost control for employer
utilization
iii.
Final project cost reconciliation and close –out
report
iv.
Monitor and control contractor’s and consultants
performance/surety bonds.
7. EXPATRIATE MECHANICAL AND ELECTRICAL ENGINEERS (7-10 years experience in
a Grade A mechanical and Electrical company):
JOB DESCRIPTION:
i.
To provide mechanical and electrical installation
on high rise and infrastructure projects including lifts, transformers, water
and sewage equipment, TV cabling system, security and control air conditioning.
ii.
Design and install mechanical and electrical
control systems and products
iii.
Manage projects using engineering principles and
techniques
iv.
Providing quality on problems with
sub-contractors, suppliers and customers.
8. SENIOR FOREMAN (CIVIL AND ELECTRICAL)(7-10 years experience in a Grade A
construction company)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
i.
Supervision of all concrete, block works and
reinforcement.
ii.
Supervision of all installation of electrical
materials and testing of appliances
iii.
Supervision of all labor on the site for health
and safety of operations
iv.
Supervision of site material management and
logistics for project execution to timelines.
